I'm here..........I think.....
Damn things are crazy right now! I have a week and a half before my 30-day. Instead of a 10-day and a 5-day, we now have a 30-day. It’s more like 20-working days though. It will be awesome. I am so excited to be getting on the phones. I can’t wait to start taking home those third checks. It is going to be so sweet. I’ve already booked over $15,000 and we’re not even on the phones full time. I am so excited! It will freakin’ rock! Qwest is such a blast to work for. I can’t believe I was lucky enough to get the job! I’m going to do everything in my power to keep it. It is such a great job! And how much can I say about the employee concessions! We get a 50% discount on home service. For DSL we get 50% discount on Qwest DSL service, 20% discount on MSN ISP and 100% discount on the activation. For Wireless we get 20% off for 3 of the plans: the Employee Cross Country 500, 1000 & 1900. For Long Distance it’s 5 cents a minute state-to-state. $.99 for the fee and that’s it. And we get concession on DirecTV!! Qwest employees get 3 monthly programming credits of $33.00 for a total of $99.00. I can get quite a bit of discounts on Qwest stuff. That is such a great deal! Plus, Qwest also gets discounts on other things to like Apple, Dell, Barnes & Noble & 1800FLOWERS. It’s way kewl!!!
These past 2 weeks have been really great at home. I turned 30 and BK had a little get together for me. It was fun. I dreaded turning 30 though. It was a milestone I wish I didn’t have to get to!!! But oh well, I guess I’ve still got another 10 years before I hit 40. There’s a plus, eh? he he It was a good party! I had my sisters over & some friends. We snacked, drank, listened to music. Just had a great old time!!!
And lemme just tell you about WrestleMania 21!! I ordered it for my birthday since it was on April 3. It was one of the best WrestleMania’s I’ve ever seen! The 2 main card matches were Batista vs. HHH & John Cena vs. JBL. They were 2 of the best matches I’ve seen on a PPV!! This PPV was 4 hours long. Normally they are only 3 hours. So I got an extra hour of PPV for $50. I was so excited! And I recorded it so I can watch the matches over & over & over. It was a fabulous PPV! Well worth the $50 I paid for it!!! Or will pay for it when the cable bill comes! J
OK GENERAL – This is for you. I miss you so much. You never call me, you never email me. We’ve been through a lot together. I wish you would email or call me!! I miss talking to you about stuff. You’re the only person I can talk to about certain things! I NEED YOU STILL!!!

I finally blogged!!!
Geez.....long time no post. I've offically been at Qwest for 3 weeks. And I fukn love it. Took home my first paycheck - $695 take home. w00t mutha fkn w00t I can get insurance for no cost. Me & BK & the kids. All company paid. Do you know how nice that is going to be? I know so much from previous experience, but have learned so much more that I ever thought I could learn. I can't wait to be on the phones making fkn BANK! There are so many things that have gone on in the last few weeks.
I miss my friends at CP. I have to behave at Qwest and it sux sometimes. I miss being able to talk to them about stuff. They are the people who know me just like I know myself. I miss the camaraderie that was Xerox. I miss Arden & Chad & Steph & Nathan. I especially miss Nathan. He & I were buds. We laughed all the time. I hope he's doing ok. I miss Arden too. He was so much fun. Talking sh*t to each other. I know we were all burned out too. Chad - I miss him too. He is prolly the one that knew me the best. I hear he got a job offer from Qwest, but nothing is finalized yet. He is going to let me know when he hears. I hope he comes over too. Less stress & politics & bullsh*t. More $$, better insurance, more prizes! And no cost for insurance. That is right there in itself a plus. 50% off the phone bill - if I had one through Qwest. Employee discounts here & there. Just overall a nice company to work for. I miss Steph. Her & I had always so much to talk about. I miss her doing my hair all the time. I hope she get's out of there in time to save her sanity too. I miss getting away with all sorts of crap over at CP. Qwest training is 14 weeks. 4 weeks of training, 2 weeks being on the phone, 4 weeks back in training & 2 weeks on the phone. Then comes your 2 week pass / fail. Hopefully I will pass. I don't think that I will have any problems. Then I will be fully competent and make lots & lots o' dough!!!
My sister finally had her baby. She went into the hospital on February 15, 2005 in the morning and had Olivia Marie Berrett at 5:36 pm. She weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces & was 19" long. She has blue eyes & light brown hair. And is so very cute. We've been waiting for her for 4 years. It's about time she got here!!! She is so little. She is just a doll though. As soon as I get her picture scanned in, I will post it. :)
I miss General lots. He's having far too much fun w/o me! I luv ya General. BEHAVE!

A final farewell!
Tomorrow is my last day here at CP. I have accepted a job offer with Qwest. Tho I love working at CP, this is an opportunity that I just can't pass up.
First of all I want to thank Tanya Covert & Janet Beck (who is no longer with us) for giving me back my job when I needed one the most! :) I would like to thank Mike Klotz for the great times at CP. Thanks for participating in the dart throwing! I'll never forget the big 'un!! I would also like to thank another colleague who is no longer with us. The ever famous Bruce Lee. He is and will always be a great person to work with and work for. He is a great friend. He is sorely missed.
Most importantly, I would like to thank my fellow Xerox co-workers. I consider them family. We've been through lots together. Thanks to all of you for making Xerox such a fabulous group to work for. Thanks for all the good fun with the darts. I will miss you all. Please keep in touch if you would like. My email is cndyaz2002@yahoo.com.
Thank you to everyone at CP for the great memories! :)

I GOT IT!! PART 2
I start Qwest on January 31st. I am definately looking forward to it. I will be in training for approximately 14 weeks. That's a long fkn time to train, but it will be a welcomed time off the phones. :-) I can't wait for my first check. It is going to be awesome! Here is the breakdown - aka the Leveraged Compensation Plan. It has four levels:
1. Trainee Level (week 1 - 8) $24,400/yr which is roughly $11.72 an hour
2. Trainee Level (week 9 - 14) $26,855/yr which is roughly $12.91 an hour
3. Entry Level (approx. 4 mos) $29,300/yr which is roughly $14.08 an hour
4. Fully Competent $36,500/yr which is roughly $17.55 an hour
Trainee Level: Approximately 14 weeks. Upon successful completion of training, the Sales Consultant will be moved to the next level.
Entry Level: At this level, you will work towards meeting or exceeding performance targets. This level base wage will include an incentive opportunity, which means you can earn additional money if you meet or exceed your performance targets. Consultants will remain at this level for approximately four months before proceeding to the next level. Prior to moving to the next level, the employee must meet the established performance criteria. Which in English means you have to pass a test showing how much you can sell to customers! General passed this. I hope I can! :-)
Fully Competent: At this level, you will get the base wage and will continue to to include an incentive opportunity.
The target salary for this position is $45,625 or more!!! Commissions are not capped in this position.
Dood...that's a lot of fukn money! That is almost $22/hr. That is fukn AWESOME! Now I know I can get that!! If my mom can do it, I can do it. She had ZERO experience. I have about 4 years experience. Dood I will rake in the dough. :-) This is something that I am definately looking forward to. It will be a new direction for me.
OMG I don't know what I'm gonna do with the General. He wants a good woman so bad. He wrote a poem & blogged it. I was in tears. It was so sad. I wish I could say something to cheer him up. I love him to death. He deserves a good woman.......and any woman would be FUKN DAMN LUCKY to have him. He is such an awesome guy. He is smart, has a great sense of humor, loves the computer, has cute-as-hell kids, is responsible. What more can a woman ask for? He does, however, need his computer time. And I completely understand that. I would complain about that. That would give me time to go shopping. And you can NEVER do too much shopping!
General - she's out there. I know this. Unfortunately, it will take time. I'm sorry to have to tell you that. But please, be patient, she will find you. Luv you kid. :-)
