LOVE

Perhaps love is like a resting place, a shelter from the storm. It exists to give you comfort; it is there to keep you warm.
And in those times of trouble, when you are most alone, the
memory of love will see you home.
Perhaps love is like a window, perhaps an open door. It invites you to come closer; it wants to show you more. And even if you lose yourself and don't know what to do, the memory of love will see you through.
Love to some is like a cloud, to some as strong as steel, for some a way of living, for some a way to feel. And some say love is holding on, some say letting go. Some say love is everything; others say they don't know.
Perhaps love is like an ocean: full of conflict, full of pain; like a fire when it's cold outside, thunder when it rains. If I should live forever, and all my dreams come true, the memory of love will always be of you!!!

Where do I start? Lemme start with Friday night. BK & I decided last Monday that we were gonna go to Charley's this Friday. I hadn't been there in years, and thought it would be a blast. I got off work at 7:00, went home & got ready & BK picked me up a little after 8:00. Under normal circumstances, I would say how much I hate that drive, but it was fun this time! We got to Charley's around 9ish and it wasn't very busy at all. But that's was fine with me. I was a little nervous about being there. It wasn't so much about the environment, it was more the fact that I was nervous about the reactions of people. Well, after abut 40 minutes there, my nerves were completely calm. I was in my red leather pants, a white shirt and my black boots. I LOOKED GOOD! :-) We played a few games of pool & then sat back down. The DJ started playing at 9:30, so the dancing commenced!

There's one event, from Friday night, in particular that I want to share and then I'll move on........
Madonna's "Like a Virgin" came on & BK thought it would be funny if I rolled around on the floor like Madonna did in her video. SO I DID! :-) It was motherfukin' hilarious!!!!!! She didn't think I would. I proved her wrong! I was rolling around on the floor, thrashing my head around, and singing, well lip-synching, the song! It was GREAT!!! I wish someone would have taken pictures! (I think!!) hehehehe I didn't get drunk, and I wasn't when I was rolling around on the floor, but I had a good buzz goin' on. Needless to say, I had a freakin' blast!!! Didn't get home & in bed until 3 am, but had fun nonetheless!!! It was a good night.

I went into work Saturday from 10 - 1 for some buyback. HE was working that day. I didn't need that. Anyway, he sent me an email saying WE NEED TO TALK. About what? STUFF WE CAN'T TALK ABOUT HERE AT WORK. Whatever! WHAT TIME ARE YOU OFF? 1 pm Where do you wanna meet? DOESN'T MATTER TO ME. Me either. JUST MEET ME IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM AT WORK. K...whatever. So we meet in there and he proceeds to tell me that he still loves me and he always will. I hate you right now! No, he tells me, you don't. I know...I just hate what this feels like....I find my one true love and I can't spend the rest of my life with him. I hate it. Anyways, he tells me to be careful in my life and with what I'm doing now. He has NO FUCKIN' RIGHT to be tellin' me what to do! He had his chance! I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself. And if I want to go out and have fun, I will...there's not a damn thing he can do about it. He lost that right when he decided not to be with me. I'm moving on.....PISS ON HIM! Tho I still love him!!! ARGH!!!!!!

Next subject!!! lol I picked up Kyia about 4...she was asleep when I called after I got off work. Picked her up and we went to Nicci's so she could play with Mikey & Nana. She had fun & we went home about 7ish. Fixed dinner & then we went to bed. I woke up at 10:45 and she was till awake playing with the blinds. She had half of them pulled out of their strings so you could see out the blinds without even opening them! What a shit!! I had already turned cartoons on for her, so I made her lay back down & she fell asleep. Sunday morning we got up and fixed breakfast. I got her bathed and dressed and she played while I cleaned the house. She went down for a nap at 1 & I got cleaned up and ready for the day. We headed back over to Nicci's so she could play with Mikey & Brie Anne again. She played with them until 6 and we went home. I tried to call her dad & let him know I was bringing her home, but there was no answer. That generally means that he is in town. He finally called about 7 and said that he got an early Christmas present - tickets to Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and wanted to know if I would keep Kyia until it got out. Of course I would. That's just more time I get to spend with her.

We went over to BK's house and Kyia played around with bunches & bunches of Mardi Gras beads. Kyia was decorating BK's Christmas tree with the beads. It was really cute! :) hehehe Left her house at 11:00 so her dad could pick her up at 11:15 and I went to bed. I talked with BK this morning. I'm gonna go over there after work and she's gonna cook me dinner! :) hehehe
