So Much Has Happened
My God...I haven't blogged in forever (well, besides the Madison vs. IF game I just got done bloggin' about)! LOL Oh well, I get busy sometimes. I should take the time out to blog tho....it's worth it. It was one helluva game. I talked to Nate on Tuesday about it and he told me that this was his last season of playing. Why? Basically -- from his own mouth -- Well.....I'm getting old and my knees are just not cutting it anymore. OK -- I can understand that. That was one of the hardest decisions he's ever had to make. He told everyone on his team earlier in the week before the game that this would be his last season, but not to make this game his LAST ONE! And they didn't. They play tomorrow in South Ogden. I have this feeling they aren't going to win -- South Ogden is the best team in the league. They are the only undefeated team. I hope they play in South Ogden like they played with IF. It will be one helluva game too.

Anyway...I feel like I'm losing Nate. I hate that feeling. We talk less & less. We spend less & less time together. It's hard & it hurts. I guess if I do lose him, I will have the memories. We have had some of the best times that I have ever experienced. I haven't laughed as much, I haven't loved as much, I haven't been loved as much. I haven't been this happy in a long time. But my gut instinct tells me that might change. Lord knows, that man is my soulmate, there will never be another man on this Earth for me. I guess I shouldn't worry about it until it happens. Just take it one day at a time and just be happy and have fun with my life. That's all I can do. If it happens, it happens. It wasn't meant to be right now. I'll always love him and no one will take his place.

Ok -- on to more happier subjects!!! MY KIDS! I am getting all of them tonight and we are going to have a blast. I am looking forward to taking them to the carnival that is at the mall tomorrow. I am definately looking forward to hangin' out with them. I've got several rolls of film to use up!! YAY! lol And I'll use them! I don't have enough pics of them! I don't think I'll ever get enough pics of them. They are growing way to muthafukin fast! Kyia just turned 2 and the boys will be 6 & 8 this year. That means I'm getting old too. YIKES! lol Ah well, such is life. I'm just looking forward to this weekend.

Talk about the game of the season! OMFG! Wow! It was a back & forth battle! With less than 15 seconds on the clock, Madison was down 32 - 29 and their entire season was on the line. Madison's QB passed the ball to Tony Jenks and he ran into the endzone with 8 seconds left to seal the victory for the Lionz. The Lionz picked up a Mustangs fumble and ran 20 yards for a final, Madison touchdown. Final score: Madison 42, Idaho Falls 32. IF read Madison's first play from scrimmage and stepped in front of Madison's received and ran 25 yards for the first score of the game, on the first play of the game. Madison dug deep, however, and recovered from that...and did what they had to do, even if it included what no one expected them to do...

It was all the General & I could talk about on the way home. It was like OMFG! What an exciting fukin' game! No one expected Madison who was 4-3 to beat IF who was 6-2! But the Lionz played with a lot of heart & determination. They deserved the win. They needed the win to make the playoffs. They made the # 4 seed. Way to muthafukin go Madison!
